BEFORE APPOINTMENT
The following steps will help ensure your wax appointment yields the best results possible.
Let it grow: Hair should be about ¼ inch long (roughly the size of a grain of rice).
Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before to remove dead skin and prevent ingrowns.
It's recommended to shower before your appointment — fresh skin = better results.
Avoid lotions, oils, or creams on the day of your appointment — they can block the wax from adhering.
Wear loose, breathable clothing for comfort post-wax.
Skip caffeine or alcohol before your appointment (can make skin more sensitive).
Avoid tanning, swimming, or exfoliating treatments 24 hours before waxing.
If it’s your first time, no need to feel shy or nervous you are in a safe space.
AFTERCARE
The following steps will help ensure your wax appointment yields the best results possible.
Avoid tight clothing for the next 24 hours.
No hot showers, baths, saunas, or workouts for 24–48 hours — sweat and heat can irritate the skin.
Avoid touching or scratching the area — your pores are open
Skip sex or friction for at least 24 hours to avoid irritation or infection.
No tanning or exfoliating for 48 hours post-wax.
Exfoliate gently starting 2–3 days after waxing, then 2–3x per week to prevent ingrowns.
Avoid shaving between appointments — it disrupts your growth cycle.
Stay hydrated + moisturize daily to keep skin soft and prevent future hair breakage.
Book your next wax within 4–6 weeks for best long-term results.
